Bride of Frankenstein
I think Science and Religion. They have conflicting views in most of the things around us, like the origin of man, idea of soul, revival of the dead and many more. In the 1935 movie, Bride of Frankenstein, directed by James Whale, the issue of the revival of the dead is established. Frankenstein was a man who was revived from the dead and was considered as a monster by most of the people. The movie attacks one of the norms of society which is to avoid discriminate the different ones. This gave a lighter perspective to "monsters" in our society. As a monster, his loneliness and being alone was shown but was stopped by the blind man who is seen as the moral one in the movie.
Science can really be helpful to all of us, but improper use of it can cause disaster and problems to other people. At the same time it can be different to the beliefs we have.
