Without a doubt, time travelling is a timeless phenomenon. Even though its first mention can be traced back to 700 B.C., it still is a topic of controversy until today. And in the course of these years, the discussion about it remains heated. It is only depicted in movies, fairytales, and science ficion novels, among others. With these forms of media and continuous support of its research, time travelling has earned a large following.

Of all the science fiction that tackles this concept, time travelling plays two roles. On one side, it is represented as something aspirational - mainly because it is foreign and a mystery to everyone. It is a powerful phenomenon that can change an entire course of history. On the other side, time travelling presents disastrous results especially if it is used irresponsibly. The advantage it makes possible becomes a grim repercussion. In support, Fringe, a science fiction television series, explains time as non-linear - all alternatives existing in one space. This is why when travelling to a certain point in time, one small alteration in the way an action is done can lead to a completely different future. It could "bring back" one person's life but that can also cause death to another - as illustrated in Newton's Third Law which is the Law of Action-Reaction. For every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force.

While there are a lot of theories regarding time travelling - and remain as theories for hundreds of years - I strongly believe that time travelling is, and always will be, a possibility.
