Music and Science
I
have my own saying that mastery of science is art. Music have been a part of
our lives. From the most ancient ancestors to this very day, we can hear music
here and there. Science have also existed ever since the first known man have
lived, we develop, we invent and evolve. Science side by side with music have change
through time. Science paves the way to the advancement of technology and
sometimes these developments affect how society functions. When a function of
society is changed it becomes a chain reaction which then results to the change
in the way of music.
From
the ancient times, we used drums made from animal hide but today various
electric instruments are used in creating music. We can see here that in
advancement in science music also changes. The two both affect the society both
are needed for the lives of the people. When I hear the composition entitled
imperial march only one goes into my mind, spaceships, laser swords and robots.
This is an amazing example that one music can have so much relation to science.
We
will continuously change, brought about by science and with that change music
will change. They are two very different things but can both affect each other
greatly.
