Night Fall
The
thing we fear most is the unknown. That for me is the summary of the whole
story of nightfall. The story was about how a civilization falls at the first
sight of darkness. The scientists then discovered such a trend based from their
research.
Throughout history science have
saved many lives from giving us the knowledge of the unknown. Without science
we would feel afraid at the first sight of an eclipse but due to science we do
this no more. Scientists In the novel should have informed the people that the
phenomenon was normal and it would pass through. Here we can see how science
can prevent death of many lives with a certain gesture of letting the people
know to do when they do not know what to do. That is true in our society especially
in the formation of new diseases. If medical doctors would not inform us properly on how to handle such
an issue thousands of lives will die. That is why we need science but it should
be known to others because what is research if it would benefit others.
Information is quite a valuable
trade in our society today, misinformation would kill thousands of people, that
is why the society needs people that seeks out the truth so that they may not
be blinded from and stumble in the dark.
